BAPA has over 400 members who are licensed psychologists and other mental health professionals, serving the mental health needs of patients in the San Francisco Bay Area. BAPA members work essentially in private practices but also in inpatient and outpatient clinical settings. 

BAPA is interested in providing our members with information about and access to businesses and practices that support our work, e.g., inpatient facilities, intensive outpatient facilities and other treatment programs, electronic health record companies, payment processing companies, psychological testing companies, etc.

A Home Within: Free therapy for foster youth, for as long as it takes. A Home Within is a nonprofit organization, made up of hundreds of dedicated volunteer therapists around the country who donate one hour a week of pro bono, relational therapy to a client who has lived experience of foster care. A Home Within supports each volunteer’s open-ended commitment by offering specialized, trauma-informed training, free consultation groups, and professional development opportunities. Amae Health is a metabolic psychiatry-led program for adults living with serious mental illness. Our Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs bring psychiatry, therapy, primary care, and care coordination together in the Bay Area, so patients never have to navigate their care alone.
